SHERMAN ADAMS

Trained as an architect in New York, I began my career working on high-end residential design projects striving to create compelling public spaces, facade designs, and interior furnishings for new mixed-use construction projects. Years later, I focused on the global store design direction for brands such as GUCCI, Levi’s and Tiffany & Co. Sherman continues to strive for brilliant designs with brands, environments and residences.

I specialize in 3D visualization as both a design tool and presentation necessity. I appreciate many aesthetic genres through spatial, graphic and digital strategies. With a passion for great design and emerging technologies, my explorations are always discovering new methodologies.

Sherman holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in NY. While in college, he was an integral member of a student culture organization that served as the bridge between faculty and student body. Sherman also served as Treasurer and ultimately Vice-President of AIAS at Pratt while running the structural mathematics tutoring program for students in need. Sherman’s affinity for culture and community continues in his approach to design solutions and team dynamics.
Passionate about brand design and retail architecture, I have spent the last 15 years as an Architecture and Brand Design Leader, successfully managing creative projects and production for several renowned brands and clients. My expertise lies in concept development, space planning, visual merchandising, brand strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and team building.

Currently, I am Creative Director at 3rdAVE, directing a cross-functional team across creative and production to lead end-to-end creative direction and project management for permanent and semi-permanent built environments.
